2-HOUR DESIGN CONSULTATION

Perfect for homeowners and real estate agents, this one-time consultation is an in-person meeting at your property and provides you with the full attention of a designer. Ideal for those who like to do the design work themselves but would like to brainstorm with a professional.

 

Every single appointment is different because everyone’s home and areas of concern are different. I bring basic tools (paint decks, measuring tapes, graph paper for quick sketches) and we walk-thru the property while the client address' areas of concern or I point out areas for improvement.
 

Typically, this would involve layout suggestions, furniture strategy, paint colors to consider, curb appeal improvements, or answering any design-remodel questions for areas like the kitchen or bathroom.

A 2-hour design consultation at your home is $550.

 

If further design strategy is needed coming out of the 2 hour consult, I am happy to continue with follow-up design support. I will email you a proposal outlining the additional time investment and associated fees.​ See Full Service Interior Design outlined below.

DESIGN SPECIFICATION

​

This service is useful for any client who is doing new construction or renovations involving professional labor (painting, refinishing floors, new surface installations, etc.). I will specify the materials to be used for the construction or renovations, including but not limited to paint, finishes, flooring, tile, countertops, hardware, fixtures, etc.

Specifying Consultation is charged at an hourly rate of $225/hr.

FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

kp design provides full service design in Cincinnati, including space planning, finish selection, furnishing, decorating and every little detail in between. Whether collaborating with architects on designs or contractors to see them through, I am engaged at every stage to ensure clients have peace of mind and, ultimately, a beautiful place to live, work, or both.

 

Step One: Strategy

It all begins with an essential get-to-know-you session to understand your design goals, likes and dislikes, project budget, and other requirements for the project. After this initial consultation, I'll translate your aspirations into an inspiration board reflecting your style. This phase lays the groundwork for truly personal outcome. 

 

Step Two: Design

In the design phase I space plan and select all finishes required for the new construction or remodel. I then choose furnishings and decor to turn your house into a home. Floor plans, samples and sketches will help you visualize your spaces and move forward with confidence.

Step Three: Implementation

Designs are only as good as the ability to execute them. With an organized process, I oversee the construction and installs to make sure the outcome is just as envisioned.
